Worship Options:

The First United Methodist Church of Wilmington offers worship two ways:

  • 9:30 a.m. ~ Sunday Morning Worship in the Sanctuary
  • 9:30 a.m. ~ Sunday on Facebook Live or at your convenience

A Children’s Sermon is recorded on Facebook after the Sunday Service

Communion served the first Sunday of the month during worship

Facilities are fully accessible with air conditioning

Large print Bibles and Hymnals are available

Hearing assistance is available

A cry area is available during services

A fellowship time with refreshments follows the service

Preschool

First United Methodist Church of Wilmington Preschool Early Childhood Program has open registration for the school year August 2025-May 2026.

Program openings are for children 2 years of age (by August 1st 2025) (diapers and pull-ups are acceptable – we will assist your child with their training needs) to children 5 years of age.

Our program has 1, 2 or 3 day session options from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Membership in The First United Methodist Church is not a requirement for enrollment into the preschool program.

Look for our Preschool Open House which will take place on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

First day of class is Monday, August 25 at 9 a.m.
